Christine Tewfik:
Christine Tewfik, M.A. International and Comparative Education, and Early Childhood Educator Diploma from the American University Cairo (AUC).Christine is passionate about Early Childhood Education. Christine is currently an Instructor in the Professional Educator Diploma at AUC. Her research about working memory in children, gives a detailed chance for the implementation of an intervention, by every teacher, parent or care-giver, in an attempt to increase inclusion.
Dina Yassin:
Dina Yassin, M.A. Sp. Ed. Dina has completed her Master’s Degree in Special and Inclusive Education from University College London (UCL) in 2010. She worked as an assistant to the Teacher Training Center Coordinator at LRC in 2006. Dina worked as a Special Ed. Teacher in Misr Language Schools (MLS) from 2007 to 2008. Since 2009, she has become the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) at MLS. Dina is currently working as a researcher in the E-based Diploma and Professional Certificates in Special Education and Inclusion (SPEDU), which is an Erasmus+ project.
Hadeel Mahmoud:
Hadeel Mahmoud, MA Special Education. Hadeel studied Psychology at the Lebanese American University (LAU), and earned her Masters degree from the same university. Her emphasis wason school related problems, behavior modification and counseling. She has work experience with children with Autism, ADHD, behavioral problems and learning disorders. She also participated and attended many conferences in Lebanon, UAE and Egypt about Autism, ADHD, learning disorders, children with special needs and related fields. Currently, she is working as a Counseling Psychologist at the LRC in Cairo.
Dena Rehan:
Dena Rehan, B.Sc. Medicine and Surgery. Dena works as a Specialist in the Early Intervention Program (EIP) at the Learning Resource Center (LRC), enhancing cognitive development for children with disabilitiesin individual and group sessions. She provides parent and teacher training in addition to nutritional support.Dena holds aPG Diploma from University College London (UCL) in Special and Inclusive Education. She is currently enrolled in a Child Health and Special Needs Masters of Science program. Dena is also the first Certified Gut & Psychology/Physiology Syndrome Practitioner in Egypt.
محمد الحناوى
محمد الحناوي مرشح لدرجة الدكتوراة في التربية الخاصة، وحاصل على درجة الماجستير في التربية الخاصة في تعليم المهارات الأكاديمية من كلية التربية بجامعة عين شمس. يشغل حالياً منصب المدير التنفيذي للجمعية المصرية لتقدم الأشخاص ذوي الاعاقة والتوحد(ADVANCE) . ويعمل أ/ محمد في مجال الإعاقة كأخصائي تربية خاصة منذ قرابة 19 عاماً، شغل خلالها العديد من المناصب في جمعيات رائدة في مجال الإعاقة في مصر، ونشرت له العديد من الأوراق والأبحاث العلمية في مجالات التعليم الدمجي، وصعوبات التعلم، واضطراب طيف التوحد، كما قدم العديد من المحاضرات وورش العمل والدورات التدريبية في مصر والمنطقة العربية. وقد أنشأ أ/ محمد المركز المتميز للتدريب في عام 2007، والذي يعمل في أكثر من 24 محافظة على مستوى مصر
Alexandra Gazis:
Alexandra Gazis, a practicing licensed clinical psychologist and holds two masters degrees in the fields of counseling psychology and addiction and is currently a Psy.D. candidate. In 2005, she joined the American University in Cairo (AUC) team, dedicating most of her work to empower students academically and psychologically. Currently, she is in charge of the Student Disability Services Unit, as an adjunct faculty and a counselor at the university.
Dalia Wagdy:
Ms. Dalia Wagdi graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University, Phonetics and Linguistics Department in 1992. Dalia started her career as a Speech and Language Therapist in a number of Nurseries in Alexandria and then in the Special Education Institutes in Kuwait, working with children with Down syndrome for three years. In 2003, Dalia joined the Learning Resource Center and The Advance Society in Cairo, and worked as a Bilingual Speech and Language Therapist and Verbal Behaviour Implementer. Since September, 2008 she has been the Coordinator of the Intensive Communication Program (ICP) at the LRC. She is a certified Hanen™ speech therapist, and a certified leader for “You Make the Difference” (YMTD) program from the Hanen™ Centre in Canada. Dalia completed the Applied Behavior Analysis online courses at Florida institutes of Technology (FIT) and obtained her Board Certification as BCaBA in August, 2016. Since September, 2012, Dalia has been the Head of the ABA Program at the LRC. Dalia regularly both provides trainings and workshops at the LRC and within schools in Egypt as well as attending workshops and conferences (most recently Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) 40 hour Training ) and on topics related to both ABA and the development of verbal behavior for young children.
Dr. Sherine Ramzy:
Dr. Sherine Ramzy, has a Ph.D. in Environmental Psychology from Ain Shams University and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Walden University. She is a licensed Psychologist and a registered assessor and has 15 years teaching experience in the fields of psychology, social psychology and education. She works with children with different neuro-developmental disorders to help develop their emotional, social and cognitive abilities.
د. سيد الجارحى
د.سيد الجارحي حاصل على درجة الدكتوراة والماجستير في التربية الخاصة من جامعة عين شمس، ويعمل كمدرس تربية خاصة بكلية التربية جامعة الفيوم، واستشاري فني بالجمعية المصرية لتقدم الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة والتوحد. كما أنه حصل على جائزة جامعة الفيوم للتأليف العلمي والترجمة، وجائزة جامعة الفيوم للنشر العلمي الدولي لعام 2017. د. سيد اشترك كباحث زائر في أبحاث عن اضطراب طيف التوحد بجامعة تكساس بولاية تكساس بالولايات المتحدة، هذا وقد نشر العديد من الأبحاث في مجال صعوبات التعلم واضطراب طيف التوحد في مجلات دولية مثل مجلة علم النفس المدرسي الربع سنوية الصادرة عن الجمعية الأمريكية لعلم النفس، وهو المسئول عن معيار البحث العلمي والأنشطة العلمية بكلية التربية بجامعة الفيوم
Randa Taher:
Randa Taher, M.A. Sp.Ed. has completed a Masters degree in Special and Inclusive Education from the Institute of Education, University of London (UOL). Randa headed the TOEFL Examination Center at AMIDEAST Egypt for 5 years, and was then the Director of the American Field Services Organization (AFS), handling the region of Africa and the Middle East for 7 years. Randa has been a member of the LRC team for the past 13 years, providing support to students with specific learning disabilities. Her special interest is in teaching writing skills, with an emphasis on the commonality of skills needed for success in reading comprehension and in writing. In addition to working directly with students, Randa conducts a series of workshops both for LRC staff and the community.
Nagwa Khedr:
Nagwa Khedr, graduated with an art major and psychology minor in 2009 from the American University in Cairo. She found her passion for working with kids while on a community service trip to work with under privileged children in Ethiopia. Then in 2010 she joined the Learning Resource Center as an early intervention specialist, working mainly with children aged 1 to 8 years old. For the past 3 years, Nagwa has been using the DIR Floortime approach to work with children with ASD and any developmental problems. In 2017, Nagwa finished her Expert training leader certification from the interdisciplinary Council on Development and Learning and became the first DIR Floortime provider in Egypt. In addition Nagwa is a certified parent coach.
Dr. Chafica Gharbieh:
Chafica Mansour Gharbieh, PhD Education. Dr. Chafica has over 19 years of experience working with children with autism, learning difficulties, behavior analysis, and verbal behavior. She also holds degrees in Verbal Behavior, using Makaton signs, the Pictures Exchange Communication System ( PECS ), using “The Listening Program” (TLP) for auditory integration training, and Kinesiology. Dr. Chafica is the Founder/ President of the Autism Learning Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis (ALI for ABA) in Lebanon. She has also served as President of the Hopeful British Institution for the Education of Children on the Autism Spectrum Disorder in UK. Dr. Gharbieh is the President of the Educational & Training Committee for the Arab Network for Autism (ANA).
Dr. Rehab Zaytoun:
Rehab Zaytoun, M.D. Phoniatrics, (Cairo University, 2005) earned her master’s degree and her doctorate of medicine in speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders. Dr. Rehab has a special interest in oral placement therapy for Dyspraxia, motor based weaknesses and feeding. She is a certified assessor by TalkTools®, Prompt® and Beckman® institutes. She also has a vast training in language acquisition, learning disabilities and processing difficulties by Orton Gillingham, Lindamood-Bell and Hanen institutes. Dr. Rehab is head of speech and language therapy at the Learning Resource Center (LRC), Cairo, where she has been working for the past 9 years.

Radwa El Tanab:
Radwa El-Tanab, BCaBA is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst since 2016. Radwa has completed over 1000 hours of supervised independent fieldwork during her coursework at Florida Institute of Technology (FIT). She provides behavior analysis services to learners ranging from Pre-k until 12 years of age. Radwa is experienced in conducting Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA), implementing behavior intervention plans, and various teaching procedures such as discrete trial training, naturalistic environmental training, and others. She provided the 40-hours Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training (RBT) in Cairo for those potentially sitting the RBT examination. She is also experienced in running the VB-MAPP assessment method. Radwa actively provides training to teachers, staff, and families in Egypt.
د. أميمة إبراهيم لقمة
دكتورة أميمة إبراهيم لقمة، حاصلة على درجة الدكتوراة عام 2018 في علم النفس بتقدير إمتياز مع مرتبة الشرف من كلية البنات بجامعة عين شمس، ودرجة الماجستير في علم النفس من كلية البنات بجامعة عين شمس، وليسانس آداب في علم النفس من جامعة عين شمس . وتشغل الدكتورة أميمة حالياً منصب المستشار الفني بجمعية نـداء لتأهيل الاطفال ضعاف السمع. كما سبق وحصلت عام 1997 على دبلوم إستخدام مناهج اللفظ المنغمVerbotonal Method فى تنمية مهارات اللغة لتأهيل ضعاف السمع من جامعة جون هوبكينز الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية تبع مشروع المعونة الامريكية US Aid بالقاهرة. ودبلوم تطبيقات مناهج اللفظ المنغمVerbotonal Method عام 1998 في تأهيل الأطفال من ذوي الإعاقة السمعية من مركز سوفاج لتنمية وتعزيز مناهج اللفظ المنغم من جامعة زغرب كرواتيا بالقاهرة . وشهادة إعداد الكوادر العاملة عام 2001 فى مجال الإعاقة السمعية البصرية من جامعة أوسلو النرويج بالقاهرة
Dr. Sahar Daoud:
Sahar Daoud earned a M.Sc. in Applied Psychology of Mental Health Disorders from Liverpool University, England in March 2016. She completed her Doctorate Degree in Liaison Paediatric Psychiatry for Children with Special Needs from Ain Shams University in December 2013. She earned a M.Sc. Paediatrics, from Ain Shams University in 2006. Sahar joined the Learning Resource Center in May, 2007. She conducts Neuro-Developmental Assessments for children with behavior and/or developmental disorders. Sahar is certified from Hanen Center in England as a “You Make The Difference” program leader and she is certified to do Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule -2 assessment from WPS, USA. She is also a certified positive discipline parent educator and positive discipline classroom educator.
Dr. Dalia Mostafa:
Prof. Dr. Dalia Mostafa is a Professor of Phoniatrics at the Otolaryngology Department, Faculty of Medicine, CairoUniversity. She holds a Bachelors Degree of Medicine & Surgery and Master and Medical Doctorate Degrees in Phoniatrics. She was awarded the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association & she is a member of theHanen Program (Canada). Dr. Dalia is the author of the REAL Scale, APPLE Tool, Arabic Curriculum Builder, Hearing Intervention Program (A to Z) and Verbal Praxis Kit. She is also the founder & director of the Speech & Language Clinics. In 2014, Dr. Dalia was granted the Award of Continuing Education from the Continuing Education Board of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

مصطفى يوسف رئيس قسم تعليم الحاسب الآلى بالجمعية المصرية لتقدم الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة والتوحد، عضو اللجنة الفنية بالجمعية، منسق التدريب الداخلى بالجمعية، مصمم برامج تعليمية ألكترونية متنوعة على الكمبيوتر وعلى نظام أندرويد فى الموبايل والتابليت، محاضر منذ عام 2006 فى مجال الحاسب الآلي سواء على المستوى الداخلى بالجمعية فى تدريب كثير من العاملين فى مهارات الكمبيوتر المتنوعة، أو على المستوى الأقليمى فى عمل محاضرات عن كيفية الأستفادة من الحاسب الآلي لذوي الإعاقة وذلك فى أكثر من محافظة مثل الأسكندرية ، المنصورة ، بنى سويف ، السويس ، بور سعيد.
Soha Reda Elzalabany:
Soha Reda Elzalabany, M.A. Sp. Ed. Soha holds a Master of Arts in Special Education and Inclusion from the Institute of Education, University of London. She has been teaching and accommodating students with different learning difficulties for 14 years in the mainstream setting. In 2011, Sohareceived intensive gifted education training at Johns Hopkins University (JHU) in the United States. Currently, she is a doctoral student at JHU. Her focus is to promote the best education for both ends of the educational spectrum: special and gifted education.
Shahira Abdel-Rahman:
Shahira Abdel-Rahman, M.A. Sp. Ed. Shahira graduated with a B.Sc. Pharmacy and Biotechnology, from the German University in Cairo and, in 2015 she completed a Masters Degree in Special and Inclusive Education from the Institute of Education. She has been working at the Learning Resource Center since 2003 where she started as a tutor for children with Special Educational Needs, and is presently the Outreach Program Coordinator and Special Education Consultant at the LRC. Her special interests are in mathematics and dyslexia; she has given sessions and lectures on how to teach children with mathematics disabilities including dyscalculia as well as on Processing Difficulties and Learning Disabilities.

بدأ العمل في مجال رعاية ذوي الإعاقة والتوحد منذ 15 عام، وحاليًا نائبًا لمدير التربية الخاصة للفصول الكبرى، وعضوًا باللجنة الفنية والسلوكية بالجمعية المصرية لتقدم الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة والتوحد. حاصل على درجة الماجستير في 2012، وحاليًا في مرحلة الإعداد لدرجة الدكتوراة فى علم الاجتماع والتربية الخاصة – كلية الآداب – جامعة عين شمس

Hussayn Hilal:
Hussayn Hilal in 2008 received his Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media Engineering from the German University in Cairo. After graduation he worked in corporate jobs up until the revolution in 2011, which inspired him to quit the corporate world. Between 2012-2014, Hussayn completed his Master’s degree in Urban Development at Technische Universität Berlin - Campus ElGouna. Currently, he is an advisor for Accessibility Planning & Management at Tatweer Misr, a real estate development. He took part in consultancies in the public domain, and this is where Hussyan aspires to have more impact. Hussayn is actively involved with the Women with Disability Committee of the National Council for Women for their 2018 Accessibility Initiative in Beni Sweif and Sohaj Governorates.
Marwa Mohamed Mansour:
Marwa Mohamed Aly Manousr, Assistant Director for Operations at University Academic Computing Technologies, AUC. I have been working at AUC since 1997. I earned both my BSc. and MSc. in Computer Science from AUC. I am also an ITIL Certified (Information Technology Infrastructure Library). I have been working in promoting and enhancing Assistive Technology Services at AUC since 2002.
Ahmed Abdeltawab Mabrouk:
Ahmed Mohamed Abdeltawab Mabrouk, Blind Score working as an assistive Technology Specialist at AUC and certified from IBM Egypt as Computer Skills Trainer for visually impairments in February 2006.
Ahmed achieved his Bachellor Degree in Arabic Language and Literature from Ain-Shams University, and 2 Educational Deplomas in Curriculum and Arabic Methodology from the same.
As a Blind Student, he started his Assistive Technology Experience since establishing the first Egyptian Stone for this Service in 1998, and enhanced this Experience by working as a technical Support Manager in local Egyptian Distributers and supports for Assistive Technology Softwares.
